when i think about my childhood i think about arcades, old skool videogames consoles, beeps and bloops. so when i think about fontz my mind kinda goes along the same lines. invaders from space is yet another videogames related dingbats font. character sprites ripped from a few different versions of the game including the classic arcade, stari, and intellivision.
